l-r: Mike Sprinkle, Amber Slagel (Membership Director of the Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce) and Shirley Hise (Executive Director of the Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce).
After the closure of the Linville Falls Visitors Center due to damage from Hurricane Frances, a temporary Visitors Center was established in a small store at the intersection of the Blue Ridge Parkway and 221 in Linville Falls. Through a partnership of Eastern National, the Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce and the National Park Service, paper towels were delivered as a "want item" for the new Visitors Center. |
