Happy Happy Happy

This trip fulfilled a 14 year desire and was a great honeymoon activity!

Check your tires before you leave on a long motorcycle trip.

I spent a long, cold, Ohio winter dreaming about riding my motorcycle across the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Tour de Ridge

I spent 3 months planning and training for my blue ridge journey. I then spent 11 days on a bicycle traveling south, one mile post at a time.

First Timers on the BRP

We had planned this ride for several years that only took 2 days to complete.

Our BlueRidge Parkway Model A Ride.

Foggy, cold and raining, but we had a wonderful time riding in our 1930 Model A Roadster with other Model A'ers and friends. We stayed at great motels along the way.

May 2013 BRP trip

We started in Front Royal, VA and rode Skyline Drive and the BRP in 10 days. We camped most nights.

What a trip! Cycling the BRP Southbound.

What a wonderful experience cycling the entire Blue Ridge Parkway! I was with a group of 6 cyclists that completed the entire trip. We started in Afton on May 10 and ended in Cherokee on May 17.

The Best Vacation

I have made this trip three years in a row on my motorcycle. This is the best vacation that anyone can make. The feeling that comes over a person as they are going down the Blue Ridge is amazing.

The day(s) the Model A's came . . .

We traveled the parkway and points beyond as participants of the MAFCA (Model A Ford Club of America) National Tour in early May 2013.

Blue Ridge in a 1931 Model A Ford

I traveled the parkway with 180+ Model A Fords in my 1931 Model A DeLuxe Roadster. This was the Model A Ford Club of America's 2013 National Tour.
