We spent our honeymoon in Gatlinburg, TN, so we traveled part of the Parkway then. We have been to DC several times via the BRP and even all the way through on Skyline Drive on the other end.
My 12 year old son and I drove Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway to the Great Smoky Mountains in August of 2011. We also visited many Civil War battlefields along the way.
