George Kegley

George Kegley is a retired business editor of The Roanoke Times and an active Roanoke Valley volunteer. He covered the Blue Ridge Parkway when its headquarters was in Roanoke in the mid-1900s and he formerly served on the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation board. A board member of the Western Virginia Land Trust and the Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation, he edits the Journal of the Historical Society of Western Virginia and the Virginia Lutheran. He and his wife, Louise, have a conservation easement, the only one in the City of Roanoke.
