Nestled high above the Shenandoah Valley in the Blue Ridge Mountains, less than a mile from Blue Ridge Parkway milepost 27, is a haven of natural beauty called the Sugar Tree Inn. Set on twenty-eight wooded acres at 2800 feet, the Sugar Tree Inn, our Shenandoah Valley Bed and Breakfast, is a place of rustic elegance, peace and tranquility.

Woodberry Inn, recently refurbished and under new ownership, is a privately owned and operated county inn. The Inn is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains just off the Blue Ridge Parkway at mile post 174.1. he Inn offers a wide variety of amenities such as affordable accommodations, restaurant, full service bar, visitors information center and small fishing lake.

The Inn is located near Mabry Mill, Mayberry Trading Post, Chateau Morrisette Winery, Villa Appalaccia Winery, Floyd and Rocky Knob and Rock Castle Gorge Hiking Trails. Woodberry Inn welcomes visitors for sightseeing, bicycling, motorcycling, golfing, fishing, festivals, horseback riding or just complete relaxation.

With fantastic prices, great service, and award-winning bar-b-que, the Galax Smokehouse is one of Galax's favorite restaurants! They feature St. Louis style ribs, pulled pork, Texas Beef Brisket, smoked chicken and burgers--and offer 5 of their very own "secret sauces." Choose from Sweet BBQ sauce, House, Mustard BBQ sauce, Mountain (a really unique sweet-n-spicy) BBQ sauce, or Lexington style BBQ sauce.

Salsa's servers an eclectic fusion of traditional Caribbean and Mexican cuisines. They value using the freshest ingredients and make all of their own salsas, sauces, beans, rice, etc. from scratch. They are not a tex-mex, refried bean kinda joint.
