Each year, the Foundation works with the National Park Service to determine where donors can make the greatest impact on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The Asheville BMW Riders and Eurosport Asheville proudly present the running of a one day Appalachian Mountain Challenge by motorcycle on Saturday. Participants can choose a paved mountain by-way route or a dual sport route, while cresting or skirting some of the highest passes in the area. The High Pass Boogie will follow a loose rally format, although riders will receive directions for all routes at check-in. Riders will depart at their own pace and ride with others (if desired) in small groups. Participation includes a Friday night mixer and silent auction, commemorative T-shirt, continental breakfast, and Saturday post ride catered dinner with prizes. All riders and brands of motorcycles are welcome to participate in this benefit event. Proceeds from the event benefit the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.
