We made 4 "long weekend" trips from 5/29/08 until 10/18/08. We used as our "hub": Waynesville, NC, Boone, NC, Roanoke, VA and Waynesboro, VA.
It was one of the most enjoyable,most relaxing and most memorable trips we have ever taken.
>Completed my fourth end-to-end journey on the BRP as part of the Tar Heel MINI's run. Not just my fourth time - it is four years in a row I've done it.
Started at MM 0 at 5:30am, pulling over serveral times for the Photo ops. Met up with a Park Ranger for additional photo ops.
It was my first solo trip I have ever done in my life. I had decided to do this trip on two wheels.
