A buddy and I had taken our Harleys and rode from Cherokee Nc to the North end of Skyline Drive. We took our time and stopped several times to take in the sights.
It starts when I moved from Rapid City, SD to Atlanta, GA in Mar 2006. When I was settled in Atlanta I started planning rides, to my surprise there is plenty of great riding in the area.
John (71) and Darrin (43) rode our bicycles from north to south. We rode 50 miles per day for eight days and then 23 per day for the last three (in the mountains approaching Cherokee).
