Two end to end runs on motorcycles

My first ride involved me flying from NY to Atlanta GA to buy a 1985 Honda VF1000R. I rode it home via Deal's Gap, BRP, and Skyline Drive over six days.
My second trip saw me flying to Sanford Florida to buy a 2006 Yamaha FJR1300 (MUCH more comfortable!) The first day I rode 220 miles south to visit a customer of mine in Jupiter FL. The second day I rode 522 miles to Macon GA. Day three brought me to a friend's home in Marrietta GA for breakfast, then through Helen GA, two passes of The Tail of the Dragon at Deal's Gap, and on to a night at the Mt. Pisgah Lodge on the BRP for a 460 mile day. The next morning when I called home my wife told me to watch the weather channel. The forcast had changed to about 5 days of torrential rain starting in 24 hours. My tires were getting well worn from the ride and she suggested that I get off the BRP and highway it home. I said "NEVER!! This is the greatest road in the USA." I rode the rest of the parkway and finished around dinnertime at Skyline Drive. From there I jumped on the highway and figured that I'd ride until I got tired. The new bike was so comfortable that I never did tire. I found myself home in South Bristol NY at 3 AM with 908 miles under my belt for the day. After a shower I went to bed. Around noon my wife woke me up and I took her for a 65 mile ride on my new toy.
I recently took my wife and two dogs on the first 110 northerly miles of the parkway in our RV. The weather got too foggy to make it worth continuing. We will do the entire thing next year. I also plan on a small group motorcycle ride of it in 2011. I've ridden many great roads in the USA on two wheels. This is my favorite.
