In honor of the National Park Service’s centennial year, the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation is teaming up with 17 Asheville-area breweries for special "Find Your Pint" beer releases and fundraising events throughout August and September to benefit the Blue Ridge Parkway. Each brewery is honoring the National Park Service in an exciting way.
Join Green Man Brewery for Parkway Pics Night at the Green Mansion. Submit your best Blue Ridge Parkway photo to brp@greenmanbrewery.com prior to the event with your name and phone number. If your picture is selected, you’ll win a free growler. All the submissions will be shown throughout the night on big TVs. Green Man will donate $1 from every pint of a special release to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation.
The Beer: The sweet and sour combination of fruit and sour wheat makes this beer the perfect accompaniment for the great scenery of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Green Man added a selection native berries found growing along the Parkway to a kettle sour with three types of lactobacillus to create a tart and refreshing brew.
