In 2009, the Foundation provided funding through a grant to the High Country Conservancy for administrative costs to purchase a 39-acre tract easement. This easement protects a mature hardwood forest, 990 feet of a stream, and is located adjacent to the Moses H. Cone Memorial Park. The High Country Conservancy was also assisted by the Helen M. Clabough Charitable Foundation Revolving Loan Fund and the Clean Water Management Trust Fund.
