Ben Hill

Retired technology entrepreneur and university faculty member

Ben Hill was a co-founder and board member of Cirronet, an Atlanta-based manufacturer of industrial and commercial wireless products that was eventually acquired as part of an industry consolidation. At Georgia Tech, from which he retired, Ben was involved in creating new ventures based on faculty research. He also taught business ethics with an emphasis on sustainability at Georgia Tech’s College of
Management. Throughout his career, Ben was active in several organizations in the Atlanta technology community.

Prior to entering the technology field, Ben served on the staff of U.S. Senator Sam Nunn and Governor George Busbee. Ben has an MAR in Ethics from Yale Divinity School, an MBA from Emory University, which is where he first met Sharon, now his wife of 40 years, and a BHS from the University of Kentucky. Ben has a great love and passion for the outdoors that includes fly fishing, landscape photography, hiking and adventure travel.
