Friends Day at Mast General Stores

Thanks to Mast General Store, adventurers can feel twice as good about their shopping experience as the store celebrates its annual Friends Day on Saturday, Sept. 10. Mast General in Boone (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.) and the original store and annex in Valle Crucis (10 a.m. to 6 p.m) will donate 10 percent of sales to the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation, so stop in for camping gear, clothes, hiking boots, holiday gifts, and more.
